I was a little bird,
I belonged to sky,
My mother pushed
Me once and I learnt
To fly,
A hunter shot me
And I fell on ground,
You picked me up,
Washed my wounds,
Kissed my lips
And made me a lady,
Walking with you
Hand in hand on streets,
I forgot to flutter,
And learnt to sing,
As is the rule of world,
You loved me,
Then trampled me
Under Your feet,
I have seen your world,
Now I want to return to
My blue sky,
But the day you touched me,
I forgot to fly,
I stand divided between
Two worlds,
The lady wants to stay
But the bird wishes to fly….
